Terms & Conditions

2.1 Annual membership is €300 plus 24% VAT per person. Until 15 October, a reduced “early bird” rate of €210 plus 24% VAT applies.

2.2 Membership grants access to the Apricity community and its programme of events. It does not include the cost of participating in events or journeys, which is paid separately.

2.3 Membership is renewed manually. There is no automatic renewal or charge.

2.4 Apricity reserves the right to adjust the membership fee for future years. Any adjustment does not affect membership already paid for a current annual period.

2.5 Registration is granted upon application. Apricity is under no obligation to accept any application and may reject it at its sole discretion, without any obligation to state any reasons.

3.1 A member may withdraw from their membership within fourteen (14) days of payment, with a full refund.

3.2 If the member has already attended an event or journey within this period, they lose the right to a membership refund.

3.3 If the member has only booked, without attending, an event or journey within this period, they remain entitled to a full membership refund; the event or journey booking is cancelled under its own applicable cancellation terms.

3.4 After the 14-day period has elapsed, no membership refund is available under any circumstances.

4.1 Participation in events is reserved exclusively for Apricity members, except for Guest Pass and Preview Pass participation as set out in Article 6.

4.2 Participation in any event requires payment in full in advance.

4.3 Places for each of the events are limited. Bookings are confirmed in order of payment.

5.1 Cancellation up to 15 days before the event: no refund.

5.2 Cancellation between 1 month and 15 days before the event: 50% refund.

5.3 Cancellation more than 1 month before the event: 100% refund.

5.4 Journeys are subject to different cancellation terms, published on each journey’s page.

6.1 A non-member may attend an event either at the invitation of a member (Guest Pass) or upon their own request (Preview Pass).

6.2 Each non-member is entitled to attend in this way only once, regardless of who invited them or how many requests have been made.

6.3 Participation via Guest Pass or Preview Pass is paid at the full event price and is subject to the same cancellation terms as Article 5.

6.4 Both categories are subject to availability, with members given priority.

7.1 Apricity may cancel an event at any time. In that case, the member receives a full refund of the amount paid.

7.2 Apricity may reschedule an event to a new date. If the member cannot attend the new date, they are entitled to a full refund.

7.3 A change of venue alone does not entitle the member to a refund.

7.4 In the event of force majeure, Apricity may, at its discretion, cancel or reschedule the event, applying the refund terms of paragraphs 7.1 and 7.2 respectively.

8.1 Journeys are multi-day experiences with their own deposit and cancellation terms, published on each Journey’s page, which take precedence over the general terms of Article 5.

8.2 Travel insurance is the member’s sole responsibility.

8.3 The Journey price does not include flights or transport to and from the destination. Apricity bears no responsibility for members’ travel arrangements.

8.4 Apricity’s role is limited to curating the programme and experiences at the Journey’s destination. Apricity does not act as a tour operator, travel agency, or organized travel service provider, and does not itself provide transport, accommodation, or insurance services. Beyond curating this programme, Apricity bears no liability whatsoever.

9.1 Every member must show respect toward other members, Apricity’s partners and suppliers, and the venues where events take place.

9.2 Public disclosure or dissemination of anything discussed at events is prohibited.

9.3 Any form of harassment or unwanted conduct toward other members or third parties, as well as any public disparagement of Apricity, is prohibited.

9.4 In case of a breach of the above, Apricity may expel the member, at its sole discretion, without prior notice and without any obligation to state reasons. In such a case, no membership fee is refunded.

9.5 Apricity reserves the right, in all cases, to claim compensation for damages arising from a member’s breach of these Terms, regardless of any expulsion.

10.1 Apricity is not liable for any acts, omissions, or damages caused by third parties (venues, suppliers, partners) in connection with events.

10.2 In any case of liability, Apricity’s liability is limited to the amount paid by the member for the relevant event.

10.3 Apricity’s liability for consequential damages or loss of profit is excluded in all cases.

11.1 Photography or video recording may take place during events.

11.2 By registering, the member consents to Apricity’s use of such material, with the option to request exclusion from being filmed or photographed (opt-out) by contacting Apricity.

12.1 Apricity processes the following member data: full name, contact details, payment details, any allergies or dietary restrictions, and preferences and interests.

12.2 Purposes of processing: managing membership and member accounts, organizing and running events, communicating with members, invoicing and tax compliance, personalizing the programme, and documentation in the event of a breach of these Terms.

12.3 Data is not shared with third parties, except: (a) allergy or dietary information, which is shared with the relevant venue or caterer solely to ensure safe preparation of the event, and (b) any payment service provider, acting as a data processor on Apricity’s behalf.

13.1 In the event of a dispute relating to these Terms, the parties will make every reasonable effort to resolve it amicably before resorting to legal proceedings.

13.2 These Terms are governed by Greek law.

13.3 The courts of Athens have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms.

14.1 Apricity’s name, logo, identity, and all related material (indicatively: text, images, design, event content) are the intellectual property of Apricity or its rights holders.

14.2 Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of the above without Apricity’s prior written consent is prohibited.

14.3 Members must respect Apricity’s intellectual property rights when using any of its material.

15.1 Terms defined in Article 1 have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear capitalized or lowercase in the text of these Terms.

16.1 Apricity may amend these Terms at any time.

16.2 Any amendment will be notified to members. Continued participation in Apricity after such notice constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
