The Table
An Island at the Centre of the Mediterranean
Saturday, 3 April · 18:00 · Athens
An evening around the flavors, stories and people of Sicily, a place where Greek, Arab, Spanish and Italian heritage still meet at the same table.
Sicily is an island where every civilization that passed through it left something behind: the Greeks their vine, the Arabs their spice, the Spanish their sweet-and-savory inventions, the Italians the table itself. Few places carry so many pasts in a single bite. This evening is not a tour through Sicilian cuisine, but an encounter with what remains when centuries of people, languages and tastes sit down at the same table. A table inspired by the island will meet a journey through Sicily's wines and stories told course by course. * Special guest to be announced soon.
