The First Table

Before our membership programme begins, we are setting our first table among the vineyards of Avantis Estate.

The First Table has been designed to reflect both the philosophy of Apricity and some of the things we, as its founders, have always been drawn to: places with character, creativity, jazz music, wine and the craft behind it, stories worth sharing, and the connection that happens when people gather around a table with time to talk. The day will begin with a welcome from the founders of Apricity, who will share the story behind the club: the realization that inspired us to create it, the kind of community we hope to build and the experiences we want to make part of everyday life. We will introduce the four pillars of Apricity and reveal the programme planned for the months ahead. From there, we will step into the world of Avantis Estate with a walk through the vineyard and an introduction to the estate, its wines and the craft behind them. We will then sit down among the vines for a long lunch built around seasonal food and a tasting of Avantis wines, with live jazz from a quartet of saxophone, bass, guitar and drums, accompanying through the afternoon. For this first gathering, we are opening Apricity's table beyond its membership community. It is a chance to experience the club before the members’ programme begins in October, meet the people behind it and those gathering around it, and discover whether Apricity is something you would like to become part of.
